1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K

Entering Grades 1-5. Come explore the woods and wetlands of Crosby Farm Regional Park, tucked along the Mississippi River Bluff! During this all-day adventuring, try your hand at building a fort, relax in a hammock, and even use a map to find a famous oak tree with a special trunk! Discover all there is to see at Crosby Lake and Hidden Falls Creek, and even gaze at the wonder of the great Mississippi while eating lunch. This week is sure to captivate all outdoor explorers!

Emily is an afterschool practitioner who has been designing and delivering afterschool programming for many years. She’s currently working to create professional development opportunities for afterschool staff. She loves giving kids (and adults) the chance to dabble! She believes that dabbling with ideas and materials is a way of learning, it helps to generate creative expression and the chance to discover ourselves!
