SPPS Community Education offers a variety of classes designed for adults with developmental disabilities to explore interests, meet with peers, have fun and learn new skills!
School Age Child Care

1/2 Day Nature-based Pre-K
Payments for catalog advertisements and other partner transactions.
Ages 4-5. Build a car with a launcher, a boat, a spinning top using gears, a doggie and much more. Build projects using LEGO® Duplo blocks and regular LEGO® bricks. Investigate the basic engineering concepts of gears, wheels and axles, and pulleys and levers. Use your creative thinking, teamwork and fun – having skills all at once!
All Community Education participants are required to follow SPPS COVID guidelines (https://www.spps.org/safelearningplan), and all other communicated health and safety expectations. Failure to do so could result in removal from the class/program.
This course is fully subsidized through grants from the American Rescue Plan.
Youth Enrichment League was co-founded by Chet and Lisa Gunhus to bring the highest quality enrichment programs and the most dynamic instructors to school campuses. We believe that students have certain gifts they are given and that enrichment may serve as a channel for students to nurture those gifts.
